Substance use disorder (SUD) is a complex condition in which there is uncontrolled use of a substance despite harmful consequences. People with SUD have an intense focus on using a certain substance(s) such as alcohol, tobacco, or illicit drugs, to the point where the person's ability to function in day-to-day life becomes impaired. People keep using the substance even when they know it is causing or will cause problems. The most severe SUDs are sometimes called addictions.

So many organizations want to be the employer of choice, but you have to do the work to get that reputation. You can’t just SAY something and have it be true. My approach to training  is to help clients identify specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals. I also work with clients to create an action plan and provide accountability to ensure they stay on track. 

Confidentiality is of utmost importance in my consulting practice. I adhere to a strict professional and personal code of conduct operating that this is a safe space to express your feelings without judgement.
